@MamaWick I have one that will be 2 soon and is very alert like that so I thought Roo was around the same age.

Closeups of these lovely gentle deer, a sweet glimpse of nature that makes one feel calm. All of these daily photos from MamaWick are welcome and uplifting. As an animal advocate I so appreciate the environment you have provided for all the deer.

@MamaWick My mother's sister's (my aunt) name was Ruth but I never heard my mother call her that, only Roo. Thanks for the memory because I was close to both of them and they are both long gone.

It is so nice to see the deer come close to sniff the carrot. They trust you. Afterall they are a wild animal but you feed them and give them water and they are thankful for that. Who is the pretty dog? And, where is our llittle baby doll senior dog?
