QUESTION ABOUT LIGHT BULBS

Long story short, I need to know what kind give a white light as opposed to that awful yellow-ish light. I need to replace a couple and don't know what to look for.

Do those labeled "soft white" give a white light or the yellowish kind?

Sorry if this sounds dumb but any advice is helpful.

We use white light light bulbs. They are definitely white, not yellowy. I can't stand anything yellowy. Hope this helps.

Home Depot and Lowes have bright white bulb. There is a brighter white than soft white!

There is a "daylight" white and a "soft" white and other variations. I went to Home Depot and they had a display in their light bulb department...you can try each one of the 3 types to figure out which one you want.

I have some bulbs on the higher scale in rooms that need true to color light including my laundry and my office. I can't believe the difference compared to the older more yellowish light, much more realistic and natural and feels and looks light daylight.

I only buy LED's for the house, I just can't do yellow of anything let alone light.

I use these... they filter out dulling yellow light.
