HSN is Really Slick

When it comes to using the coupon codes. You'd think they would automatically apply the code but no. So I ordered an item for $75 and saw they had a coupon code. Had to go back and cancel (as lunch would have it, it had not processed yet). I added the item AND the code and it showed the new price but after it processed it didn't add the new price. So had to cancel and go back and order it again. This time it worked.

You can cancel an HSN order anytime before midnight. i've canceled an order after finding a coupon code and then re-ordered using the coupon code. NBD. Today i canceled a beauty item i had on autoship. NBD, email popped up saying my order was being processed and i canceled.

Fail to see how HSN is "Slick".

I fail to see where their slick also. I bought first time , my Ninja Foodi from them,on a special price day, got it love it. Put it on my credit card,all this by phone. Then tried to buy a pair of Berkies, had everything on the computer, even my CC#, but they wouldn't accept my password, which I put in a dozen times, I never had a password with them. So, I never got my shoes, and I will not try to order anything else. It will take you the rest of your life to order anything so I wouldn't even bother to try, all because of a stupid password.

Maybe I'm out of the loop but I don't know many places that automatically apply a coupon code. The only time I've had a code applied was for a site wide sale and in order to get the percentage off, the code was added automatically.

@rms1954 Yes, I didn't think there was any way to cancel an item once you placed an order on QVC. Am I wrong?

Yup. You can. Same as QVC. Go to your order status and there's a choice to the right "cancel this item."

I got lucky with that same coupon!

I tried to use the coupon but some items on my shopping cart got sold out while in the process of checking out, so my order was not up to $75.00 , I ended up making separate purchases to make sure I could still buy some of the items - which had been sold out twice before but I had them on my favorites and I got notified they were back in stock - they are now sold out again but I was still able to buy 2 .

So I called HSN after I placed my orders and asked if anything could be done regarding my coupon that I was unable to use since I had not spent $75.00 in one order but over $90.00 separately and the Customer Service girl verified the items were sold out so she advised me all she could do was to give me the $15.00 as Spendable Kash which was good enough for me!
