Happy I was able to sign in to the Forums!

The Forums were down all day. I had contacted the QVC Social Team and was told that IT was working on it,

And I did an online chat a few hours ago and was told they had no info on the forums being down.

I could go anywhere on the site, I just couldn't post. CS had me reboot and sign in, which I had tried about 8 times. It kept taking me to the home page, no matter what I did. I was beginning to think I got banned, so I wracked my brain trying to think what could have been offensive. Nada. Its like cutting off my right arm to not have this outlet, so thank you IT people!

@gidgetgh it's like one hand doesn't know what the other is doing! I did a FB chat and they told me they knew about it and were working on it.

I did a Facebook message earlier today and was told they were aware of the problem and were working on it.

I wouldn't be that lonely without the boards. I mainly come in now to see the news. You can usually find out what's going on in the world before you turn on the TV in the morning.

I figure one day the boards will be gone. To many 'bad eggs' spoil the carton, so, nothing would surprise me. My life will go on.

I thought they took the forum away. I could only log into the regular QVC shopping.

I was disappointed for myself and irritated that my habit got disrupted. But I felt more concerned about those who use this as their primary social media method for connecting. I wondered what they were going to do and I worried about them being cut off so abruptly.

Well...when I signed in it went to the homepage...THERE I saw....American West jewelry on sale for 25% off and more....I bought a bracelet that was 80.00 less than then retail...whoohoo....$107.00 and change instead of $187.00....maybe it was a plan on the Q's part...lol....DW

I was a little concerned because I thought they had recently been pushing a new Facebook fan group. But, then I tried to log onto my recent purchases and that was down as well. Regardless, happy they are back up!

could read the forums, but could not sign into the forums. every time i went to sign in it took me back to the qvc homepage. no problems with the rest of the site.

i emailed qvcsocialteam@qvc.com and they responded quickly that the boards had been down since the middle of the night and that they were working on it.

Early this morning I could see no one was posting. I gave up signing in. Actually I got a lot accomplished without being tempted to chat on the boards. Then I decided to get the TSV lounge top and pants. Not a bad price.

Well, I've had to change my password, which at first the system wouldn't let me do. Not that crazy about my new password which I just sort of improvised on the spot....

Interesting that the whole system had to freeze while QVC got rid of some of their functions-- at least, the CS person I spoke to said they were eliminating something on Facebook? It was confusing and at first she said she wasn't really sure of her information.

It kept redirecting me to sign in time after time. I could read posts but could not access it to reply or start a new thread. Glad it's finally fixed.
