@SeaMaiden - Yesterday I got an envelope from the IRS and was hoping it was my stimulus check. The letter was dated March 28 and said my $600 check has been direct deposited and if I didn't receive it 7 days after the date of this letter to call this phone number. My husband & my $600 each had been direct deposited on 1/4 - almost 3 months ago. I don't think it was a scam as my dtr. had received this letter way after she had her money. I also received this letter way after the first stim. money had been deposited. We're waiting for our next stim. money to be deposited - hopefully on 4/7.

@WORKING GAL yes. I received "the letter" a long while after receiving the last stimulus debt card...I found it rather ironic but such is expected from the IRS😄. I guess they do the best they can being understaffed as they are.

My husband never received his last stimulus and we ended up taking his off our 2020 taxes. It is all rather confusing. Makes you wonder how they are functional at all....but they seem to somewhat get things done. It is pretty complicated

A lot of people on SS will receive theirs on Wednesday the 7th April (direct deposit). Some will be received by mail.
