I still get the we are looking into bla bla bla on the IRS site wheres my payment. Just do not understand it. We have filed our 2020 taxes and everything. I think that they are just SO FAR BEHIND ON EVERYTHING... they are still working on 2019 taxes....

@SeaMaiden a lot of people are still getting that message. They said that the site would be available this weekend because they will be processing the checks and direct deposits will be available on Wednesday the 7th. Mail deliveries will also be arriving next week. Hope your's and @SharkE's are included.

@SeaMaiden Nothing makes sense. We did get ours deposited in our bank account last week. We have not filed our 2020 taxes yet.

yeah, only ray of sunshine we got was in our informed delivery mailbox it shows one is coming "next few days" this was Tues. Hope has both on there, he or I don't get shorted.

Guess I got April fooled for sure !

Checked the Get my payment page today and lo and behold hubbo is getting his check direct deposit on Wed

BUT, sharke's check has the wrong routing # and no telling where mine is going. He never got the 2nd one, period. Now, mine is being directed to somebody else's account and I'm not getting mine in with his in the same bank account. Both on SS, but, they got the last 4 digits wrong on the direction of my check !

Then, Tues, we had notice in Informed Delivery they would be coming by debit card ! and to be on the look out.

I called bank and they said if name doesn't match up with routing # then they send back to IRS. so, that means another month wait for mine to hit.

We're totally confused !

Mine showed up this morning. I checked everyday and it said not enough info. but in there this morning. It will come out of the blue.

I may had got the numbers mixed up whatever the last 4 numbers are called. Any way on his get my payment page the last ones are accurate

we have no idea whose # this one is on my get my payment page.

I'll probably get left out of the loop altogether this time since he did last time.

My "stimmie" (thanks for the new word, @agb80) will be deposited in my bank account on Wed. Apr. 7. I'm glad that it won't be coming in the mail because my address will be changing very soon.

My first one came as a check, the second one as debit card and third one was deposited direcly into the account that my SS check goes in.

Inspector Poirot and Sherlock Holmes couldn't solve my mystery.

Now, I've read where if you don't recognize the bank account # as being your own it might pertain to some other thing.

Maybe it's got something to do with that debit card preview I got in Informed Delivery back on Tues of this week. Telling me I had a debit card coming in next few days. That strange # may be tied into receiving a debit card, whereas his is going to go into the bank.

I'm sick of it and hope this is the final pay out.

@SeaMaiden Since you got one by debit card tell me do you

1. activate the card

2. then can you go to your own bank and get all the money at 1 time

3. do you have to use a ATM machine and only allowed to take out so much at a time.

I read on the IRS page the FAQ questions we don't know any more then we did. totally confusing.

I am not SeaMaiden but my accountant told me to take the debit card to the bank and deposit it into my bank account or I will be charged a fee everytime I use it (it is still sitting in a drawer!). I did activate it.
