Usually deer are very wary of dogs because they get chased a lot. However, they seem to understand that Cricket is harmless.

Happy Easter to all the gentle forest creatures who always give us a smile. Also Happy blessed Easter to the Wicks and Miss Cricket for their kindness toward the deer and for sharing a post I always look forward to seeing!!!!

I just just wanted to let you know that I was speaking to a friend of mine who lives in Staten Island NY ... she lives in the Tottenville section of Staten Island & has lots of deer on her property .... one of the bucks dropped his antlers right in front of her & she was able to pick them up when he walked away ... she is thinking of having them mounted so she can hang them on the wall ... she said they are solid & heavy😉
