Sorry I didn't see the late last night post that Ever Given has been set free.

ETA: It was only partially free last night.

The high tide today is reported to be helping move the cargo ship along.

I believe last night it was partially free. According to CNN, it's now fully free. Yipppee!!!!

@Krimpette Thank you. I saw the newest thread and I guess I misread that it was already free although I didn't see anything until this morning on the news.

My concern was coffee. I now have 100 k-cups of French Roast on the way from Costco!

I learned something new:

A pilot from the Suez Canal boards each ship to

help manuever/guide the vessel through the canal.

I guess I always thought it was the boat captain

and regular crew doing the navigating.

It makes sense.

The name seems pecular, especially for a Japanese ship. Actually, it's odd for any ship.
