Mine is open and ready for everyone. That said, some places have you sitting 6 feet a part, some don't. Though a sign may read you must wear a mask, if you choose not to, they can't do anything (I see this happening everywhere now).

We picked up some food at a resturant and chose to eat outside (first time in a year!) as we were the only ones outside. Everyone else was inside and except for the employees and DH and I, not a mask to be seen and the tables were close together like you would see pre-covid.

As far as I know, restaurants in our county continue to have tables spaced apart, wait staff and most customers wear masks(at least coming and going). I’m just hoping that our governor does not overturn the ability of individual cities and counties to make their own safety choices as he did earlier in the pandemic.

We are in Tier 3 (4 tiers total) re-opening. A lot of details I won't bore you with, but restaurants now allow groups of 10. We went out to eat Saturday night & it felt normal, except for when you go to the bathroom you have to put your mask back on. Yeah...that's going to help.

DH and I are now almost 1 month past the secind shot.

Going to lunch in a few dys with a friend who is a brittle diabetic AND brest cancer surviver. Seating wll be her choice. I'll have a warm scarf!

Florida has been back to normal in dining for months. No increase in diseases. I feel bad for smaller places that didn't have the resources to survive and are out of business. It really was not necessary.

In my state, Delaware, we are still at 50% capacity. We are one of the states on the east coast that is seeing an increase of cases right now so I don't think there will be any changes soon except for possibly schools since the CDC recommended that students can be 3 feet instead of 6 feet apart. Right now a majority of the students that opted for hybrid learning are going to school two days a week. With the decreased distance requirements that may change to four days a week. It really will depend on how many students will take a bus as the bus has limits as to how many students can be on the bus at one time which is 23. I work with special needs preschool students and we have the students with more significant needs coming in 4 days a week but we are getting close to capacity.

The numbers here in Michigan are very high which include many cases of the UK variant. Our restaurants are at 50% capacity. My brother in law and sister came down with Covid a week and a half ago. My brother in law is now recovered. My sister is still recovering. They had not gotten a vaccine yet.

We are now at 75% in my area but what some restaurants are facing is the fact that they cannot safely social distance people 6 feet away and still have 75% of their restaurant full so allowing the increased capacity is not helping them at all if they don't have the space to social distance.

I agree, @Still Stylish Lady . Same numbers as the lock down states. Hopefully, live and learn. People still wearing masks the same as before, in stores, grocery, and restaurants.

Arizona has been fully open for a long time with no mask mandates ever and our numbers are dropping. Never ate outside only inside this entire time.

We went to 100% on March 10th here in Texas. It is strange seeing all these dining rooms open and people walking in and out who had stayed closed during the slow process of limited capacity. So nice to see it all compared to this time last year.

Believe what you want , but new data is coming in that the 6 ft rule based on conjecture by the CDC.

. If you follow Dr. Marty Makary who is a professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health, he provides info based on European studies and actual data info.

Every time we open up too much we wind up shutting back down again. Opening up, modestly, everywhere, should still be a thing. Masks and social distancing should still be required, even with vaccinations. We have variants circulating and tons of unvaccinated people. Florida is number one in US in cases of the more contagious UK variant. Tables in restaurants should be spaced. Occupancy in restaurants and bars should be at lower levels than before the pandemic, not at 100%. I think 75% might be too risky here with the more transmissible UK variant in wide circulation. Masks should be worn. Outdoor dining should be used whenever possible. Bars should only allow persons seated at distanced tables inside or outside service at distanced tables could be used. We keep cutting off our noses to save our faces. Within a month of opening up too much, the cases start mounting again and another shut down begins. We keep going in circles.

Few stores or restaurants closed. Restaurant is every other inside table open for seating and outdoor dining available. It's beginning to warm up in central Midwest. Still a lot of carry out ordering. Mask preferred when walking about. I say preferred because some people would have to be wrestled to the ground and hog tied to wear a mask.

Reported positive covid 19 test results may go up , however most areas there are less hospitalizations of those ill with the virus. There are various medications being used for early illness with covid 19 . Abt 128 Million people have been vaccinated against covid 19. Also natural immunity is greatly under played. My State is opening up more beginning this Friday. Hopefully, if reported positive cases goes up by mildly symptomatic or asymptomatic people , my Governor does not do some knee jerk reaction and lock us all down again. Let people go to school , let businesses open , let people go to work and let us all have some normalcy to our Spring and Summer.

I'm Up North and many restaurants are still doing take out or drive thru only.

For those cheering restaurant capacity, keep in mind someone has to clear those not so sanitary tables and pick up those filthy dishes.

Some of us have continued to provide daycare to our grandchild and did not contract covid 19. . Also some of us never contracted covid 19 despite having provided up front and personal care as healthcare staff to patients. Don't underestimate good hand hygeine and masks. So, dirty dishes are nothing compared to handling other peoples bolidly fluids when they are ill.
