Watching The Hugs

I just saw families getting to hug their grandparents, it was on the news with David Muir. There was a woman 100+ years old dancing with her great grandson. These images make me very emotional, it has been over a year since many have gotten to be with their loved ones. It does make me sad though, I wish I had my mother, father, and grandmother to give the biggest hugs to.

Jordan! I was watcing that, too! And I had the same thought.... what I wouldn't give to dance with my grandma.

@Jordan2 I watched it, too, and teared up as I did. Wasn't that 102 yr old dancing grandma great?! She shamed me for the moaning and grunting I do at ~30 years her junior.

I've had my 1st vaccination, and should get the 2nd one in a few weeks. I live alone and have not felt a human touch for the past year, so I hope my own grandchildren will be as happy to be with me.
