Just curious..mine is $125 for 2 people . I live in a large urban city.

home......$200....one person, every other week. i was doing every three weeks, but decided now to just go with every other week. suburb of big city, 6 bedrooms, 3 full/2 half bathrooms.

beach home.......$160......4 people, on demand as needed. delmarva beaches, used a lot during the high season and once or twice a month during the off season. 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms.

First 25 yrs-same firm - 2-3 people

3 br apt - $65 every 2 weeks (firm never raised their rates)

Lived in the city

Last 3 yrs - 2 of the women started their own professional cleaning business. Me & 1 other client who owns a huge Victorian home jumped ship.

2 br apt w/office/den - $45 (for being one of their first clients) once a month-2 people

Live in the burbs

To be fair, I have no idea what the going rates are. I do know, the price varies. Depends on what you want them to do & how often. They now have many clients between the 2 building in my community.

I hired them for good deep cleaning -- baseboards, pot shelves, and good cleaning after had bathroom reno & floors done.

2 ladies 2 hours = $155

Now wish I had them do my blinds and windows ...ugh been working 2 days would have been worth extra $75😃

I pay $160 for 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, family room, breakfast nook, and kitchen. Two people come every 2 weeks.

Pre-Covid, I was paying $150.00 every other week for a two story, 4 bathroom, 5 bedroom house. I stopped when Covid struck and haven't gone back. Now that I am retired, I don't think I will return in the foreseeable future.

I have had one since November. She charged me 300.00 for a deep clean 3 bedroom ranch. All I asked for was everything dusted or wiped down and all of the floors vacuumed and washed. No bathrooms or nothing else. Two weeks later 150.00 for floors and dusting only but she uses a feather duster instead of wiping everything down. Am I asking too much to have everything moved and wiped down and floors vacuumed under beds and all and then only kitchen dining room and hall way washed. I feel she is high.

My housekeeper charges $20/hr. She takes 5 hours to clean my apartment. I supply the cleaning supplies. She does a fine job!

I pay $150 every other week, 2 people, 3BR, 2-1/2 baths. Not much to do but vacuum, wet mop baths and clean DH bathroom. I keep mine clean. I squeegie down shower after use each day. Bathtub has not been used in 2-3 years by grandchildren. I have self-cleaning toilets but I detail the two used twice per week. One bathroom is only used by housekeeper and in-season gardener. I clean my kitchen, change the linens and wash them. No clothes to fold except occasionally towels in the dryer she might fold. She and her husband 2 hours.

@Junker2327 One of my big things is that items and surfaces be wiped down. I don't think feather dusters or even those swiffer things do much but move dust around.
