First of all, even my flags have ice!!!

Next, Cricket loves her faux fur lined coat and doesn't want us to take it off.

Finally, after not seeing them at all yesterday as they apparently snuck in for the food left out, we saw them out front and were able to feed them in person.

You are tremendously lucky to have these babies visit you regularly - as are they to have you!

@MamaWick I didn't know that bucks gathered togater, have only ever seen a buck alone or with a doe.

I love this picture

and can I imagine how happy I would be to see this many sweet deer in my yard! Seeing the pictures every day is wonderful.

My aunt told me when they went to Japan, there is a deer sanctuary park they visited and the deer were used to people and would come up and you could touch them. Heaven

It's called Nara Deer Park.

Such brave visitors having their meals despite the chill and snowy grass. When you are hungry and know the way to the Wick's refuge, you just do it!!!!!!

Cricket looks quite the cutie pie in her fashionable coat!!!! Warm and cozy, that's Cricket, she knows her comfort zone!!!

@MamaWick Thank you for not only sharing the pictures of your beautiful herd, but a big thank you for taking care of them no matter the weather.

My heart goes out to wildlife in these hard times especially to those who live in places that do not usually have such severe cold and precipitation.

We have been putting extra food out on the snow for the wildlife in our yard. I wish that I could bring them all inside. Of course, I can't nor should.

Woofs to the fashionista, Miss Cricket. Cricket, you rock that fur coat. Sending some gentle ear skritches along.
