No cause of death only that it was unexpected.

He was the 2nd of four sons. One of my favorites and I was looking forward to seeing him in the Tournament of Champions.

This is such sad and awful news. We just saw him winning on those final shows and I was always rooting for him. I wonder if they will ever say the cause of death later maybe?

I think Alex enjoyed Brayden's winning streak. I certainly wanted to see how he did in this year's tournament. My sympathy goes out to his family.

I think Alex enjoyed him as well. I read an article where producer, Mike Richards, said Brayden charged Alex with a certain energy. The article called Brayden "Alex's last champion" or something to that effect. I don't recall the exact words.

According to TMZ's update from a family member, he died suddenly of natural causes from a medical emergency.

I was so sorry to hear the news of Brayden's passing.

We enjoyed watching him on the show. He seemed like such a likeable young man.

It is wonderful that one of his dreams was to be on Jeopardy and he was fortunate enough to do that with Alex. It must have been such a thrill for him.

My heart goes out to his family and friends.

The cause for Brayden Smith's death was Pancreatic Cancer, according to an article from Page Six News.

Maybe he has not really passed away. There are sicko pranksters who produce lies which become widely circulated.
