😄😄😄 I Got Crabs! 😄😄😄

Today I bought two Dungeness crabs right off of the fishing vessel that caught them.

They are still alive and kicking.

I have named them Dinner 1 and Dinner 2.

One of the advantages of living next to the ocean, here in northwestern California.

I look forward to crab season all year long!

I am so jealous. I love crabs. When we rented a home in San Francisco for two weeks, I bought some dungeness crabs and cooked them one night for dinner. They are so big and different than the blue crabs we have on the east coast, but they were delicious.

@Anonymous032819 We used to love to go to Scoma's at Fisherman's Wharf for the Crab Louie. There is nothing like that salad!! We live on the opposite side of the country now but we have a local supplier of frozen Dungeness crab. Of course its not the same, but it sure beats other types of crab!
