FedEx delivers on Sunday?!?!?!?!

I got an email earlier that something I ordered from NC was on it's way.

Surprised that a couple of minutes ago - it got another email that the package was delivered - I opened my apt door - and there it was!

(It's another order of yarn.)

In our area, we get packages delivered 7 days a week too.

I do not think this is everywhere though.

Yes they do, and I believe during the holidays UPS does also. USPO does the same. They delivered a package last Sunday.

@ALRATIBA In my neck of the woods UPS & FedEx delivers 24/7/365 up til 9:00p.

Sometimes USPS will deliver on Sundays if it's a package from Amazon and overnight deliveries.

@ALRATIBA - I just ordered something from Chewy late Friday night and to my surprise, it was delivered today. I wasn't expecting a Sunday delivery either.

I just received a FexEx package too. I ordered some more double cell cellular shades for the 2 spare bedrooms. It showed Sat delivery which was changed to Sun delivery.

I said I don't know why they sent me email saying it would be here Sat or Sun since they don't work on the weekend?

FedEx showed up today. Must be working their Holiday hours around here.

Last time they sent me Sat delivery notice I did not get it until Mon.

We have gotten Sunday deliveries from FedX/UPS and USPS quite a few times. And of course Amazon.

I had a "first" the other day. I ordered an electronic item (~$70). I had the option to have it delivered between 4AM and 8AM the next day, or delivery the following day. For some reason, I just wasn't comfortable with that very early delivery, so I did not take that option. Pity the poor drivers that have to be delivering packages at that hour! (It was from Amazon).

Here they started last year before Christmas and they haven't stopped. Our mail carriers deliver packages on Sunday also.

We get deliveries 7 days a week and have for over a year and I am in a relatively small town.

I've gotten packages on Sunday from USPS, UPS and FedEx for quite a while. I got a package from QVC delivered by USPS today. My EDD was this coming Tuesday.

USPS also delivers on Sunday. I got a package delivered last Sunday. Not something new either. They have delivering for years on Sunday.

FedEx certainly does. Earlier in 2020 (perhaps following Amazon, FedEx etc.) UPS announced they are delivering on Sunday.

I often get deliveries on Sunday..FedEx, UPS. Was surprised to receive a package on a federal holiday from the post office!!
