There are so many good sites out there, @goldensrbest .

Basenotes is a wonderful site, out of Britain, I think, with tons of information, quirky reviews of fragrances, etc.

This may not be the kind of thing you're looking for, but even Frangrance.net used to have a feature where you select a scent, and they tell you which other perfumes out there are highly similar. It was especially helpful if you are looking for better priced alternatives to more expensive scents.

For example, they would tell you that Nina Ricci's classic, "L'air du Temps", is surprisingly similar to the widely available "Windsong".... But I just checked their site, and it looks to me like they don't do that anymore, rats!
