these were on advance order and mine has shipped! very excited as these have been calling to me for the past few years. the extra tall plug in version got me. nostalgia!

I have a ceramic one that my mother in law gave us back in 1988 or so. It's also 24" and a bit heavy...we store it in the attic and get DS to bring it down for us each year.

I keep mine in the foyer on a table and we leave it turned on at night...makes a nice glow.

@happycat Yes it is and it's a sentimental piece since dear mother in law gave it to us and is no longer with us.

@knittykitty I'm glad you got it! My DS bought me an original Atlantic on eBay a few years ago. I always loved them, but my Mom never had the time to do ceramics classes;, so, I didn't didn't have one. They are so much fun!

I love the ceramic Christmas trees - they're so nostalgic. I so wish I knew what happened to my mother's that she bought in the 80s or 90s.....I'm thinking a family member is the culprit. I bought one a couple of years ago from the Q - it's a good size and so pretty. David was selling them at the time - probably on one of his food shows. LOL. I'm sure you'll love the one you ordered! They have a special place on our hearts.

I have the 18" Mr. Christmas tree. So enjoyed it last Christmas which was first year I had it. Been thinking about getting it out already!

The 18" is plenty big enough, and I can handle it independently which is a requirement now for most things that come into my house.

It makes me happy.
