CostcoTrip Today November 5th

Got there about 10:30AM. Not too busy. Had everything I needed in stock. Plenty of paper towels...TP....wipes. They had One paper towel and TP per person. No hoarding that I could see. At grocery store( fredMeyers) on way home, plenty of everything there too....Even H2O2 for 99 cents for a big bottle.

Costco had a lot of clothes out....sweaters etc....really cute stuff! I told myself I did not need anything....but, I was tempted 😄

My wife just got back from Costco and the only thing she wanted they "still" did not have in stock. I think they are called Egg Bites. Other than that nothing on our list.

Same at our local HyVee and Tractor Supply, everything on the lists.

I also did a Costco run this morning. For those over 60 I can't stress enough, check for your over 60 hours at your Costco. I was in and out and home in a half an hour. Short lines. I am spoiled with these hours. They had everything with the exception of Clorox wipes, which they did have last time I was there.

@hckynut , my store was fully stocked with both kinds of Egg Bites...hopefully yours get them soon!

Wow! You got lucky on that trip. DH and I went to Sams club Saturday it was packed with people and only thing they didn't have was toilet paper.

@SeaMaiden Costco report from SE Pennsylvania. Still no Dixie Ultra 8 1/2 inch plates - not for months. No Scott TP (our plumber's recommendation). No Lysol or Clorox wipes - since the spring. No All Free and Clear. Good sale on AA batteries and lots of great Christmas decorations! Also, I picked up a box of Mrs. Prindables chocolate and caramel covered pretzels - 24 for $12.99! Sure hope they make it until Thanksgiving

@SeaMaiden I buy all my casual clothes at Costco. The price is right, the quality is right and the sizing is right for me.

I've also bought quite a few Carol Hockman lounge sets and sleepwear for under $20. and they wear and wash beautifully.

I've had some items for years and they really hold up well.

I also buy casual shoes there when a style I like is stocked in my size. My right foot got 1/2 size larger since my knee replacement last year so fit has been a problem for me ever since. If the shoes aren't comfy it's so easy to return to Costco (even numerous times).

@pdlinda Interesting that your right foot got larger with knee replacement? I had both knees replaced and my feet did not get larger....thank goodness as they are already a size 10😄

My operated knee became a 10 (from 9 1/2 ) so maybe after I have my left knee replaced in the near future both feet will be a 10, just like yours!!

Yesterday I googled Costco on Youtube - and a female shopper took u thru most of the store showing different products. I enjoyed the trip. I have a $50 check (for using my credit card) so I'll have to go there soon. I love all their BREADS!!!!!

Only two of us but I manage to buy great stuff there as long as it has a good shelf life. Not needing an towels or toilet paper anytime soon. I do love their clothing. I don't need it but with the prices the way they are... I am all in to buy something to wear everytime I go.

You may have to pick through to find what you like, but sometimes Costco has good clothing. I can find more winter stuff than summer. I found a really cute lightweight quilted coat there last year for like $40. The shopping channels were selling something very similar for upwards of $100 at the time.

@Icegoddess Agreed. I got a "32 degree" quilted long sleeve jacket (for our "cold" Phx winters) 2 yrs ago with inside pockets to carry things and nice ribbed sleeves for $15.00 and love it. I also bought a sleeveless quilted vest last year from same company for about the same price. I can wear my long sleeve t-shirts with that one.

Today, it was 97degrees in Phx!!! However, the temps are due to drop about 30 degrees by next week (I know...crazy) so I'll have my 2 jackets ready to wear!

I was at BJs a couple nights ago. Wanted to use my coupon on Charmin and when I turned the corner to that aisle - nothing. Empty shelves with signs saying "one per customer." No paper towels, no tissues, just a couple packages of napkins. I noticed a large depletion in BJ's canned goods and dried pastas, too.

So I made an unintended trip to Costco and their paper products aisle was also completely barren.

The next morning I went to a local store at senior hour and found TP. It hurt to pay non-warehouse club prices for a small amount, but hey when you have to you have to.

Now go figure - BJ's has TP back in stock, no PT. I put a big pack of Charmin in my cart to pick up later along with canned vegetables. Costco remains barren of paper products.

This is crazy!

PS - the frozen veg and fruit aisles are also wiped clean at my local grocery stores.
