topic New 400tc sheets------VERY rough! in Community Chat

I washed my new sheets and put them on my bed yesterday. Boy was I disappointed when I got into bed last night! The sheets are not smooth and soft at all! They have a nice weight to them, but they are very scratchy! Other than fablic softener (which I did use), does anybody know of anything that might make my new sheets softer? I'm hoping they get softer the more I was them, but I'm not so sure.
