CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

Hi Sandy, In my last post to you I forgot one thing, 'Computer." I know you have been in the process of buying a new one and so am I. The one I am using has been causing too many problems, time for a change.

I am interested in an HP, had one for many years that I was happy with so decided to stick with the brand. For many days I have been checking the Internet and found the best deal at Office Max, Office Depot for $409 on sale. It is an HP22 All in one with a Microsoft 365 upgrade at $69.99.

Now my daughter said I don't need the Microsoft upgrade so that leaves the price at $409. She promised to drive me to the store on Monday to take a look at it, however, what she says and what she does are always two different things, soooo, at this point it is a wait and see game. Anyway, just thought I would mention it to you in case you are still in the market.

I'm still hurting a lot but life goes on and I know not to overdo, and what my limits are. Hope all is serene on your end.

@Lindsays Grandma My day is going well-thank you.😊 I'm sorry you are still hurting, but glad you are strong enough to continue gracing us with your insightful, often HILARIOUS collections! I did not see this thread before responding to several of your other posts today, so please forgive the late response.😁

I favor HP's as well, and actually purchased another HP laptop from HSN that arrived last week; so far I have only had minor issues. I am crossing my fingers, EYES and TOES, for it to continue to perform adequately, because my computing needs are very basic.🤞🤪

On the Office Depot website, I see that the computer you are considering has pretty good reviews; available for FREE next business day delivery, in the event your daughter does not take you as promised. I will continue to hold you in prayer, for relief of your painful condition.😊🙏

@SandySparkles ...So, as for the computer, it was a complete waste of time. When we got to the store they had three computers on display, none of which was the one I was interested in. Oh, and another thing, they are closing the store. I have seen the same computer in other stores, including Walmart, however, not at at that great price. I will buy that one from another store and pay more but that's okay.

As for the pain, it isn't calming down as much or as quickly as I would like it to and I am trying to ignore it. Life goes on, pain or no pain. Hope the laptop from HSN continues to perform without any hitches, I'll cros all my fingers too.

@Lindsays Grandma Awww. I am SO sorry you are still having that much pain.😞 I truly admire your strength, and know you are persevering as best as you can. I can't imagine what you are going through. Hopefully, some relief will be coming SOON.🙏

There are good deals online at various stores; in competition with Amazon's Prime Days. You might be able to get the computer you want at a great price! Let me know which one you choose-I'm really curious.😁

@Lindsays Grandma Yay! Your post made me smile.😊 With the painful "storms" you are enduring, you deserve a little sunshine! Amazon was able to squeeze a few coins from me as well. I purchased a very pretty ombre, 32 ounce water bottle at 20 percent off, and of course free shipping.😁

We don't know how much we "need" a computer, or tablet until we do not have one.😀

@SandySparkles ...It keeps changing, went back to Walmart and found exactly what I wanted, HP22 AIO Touch 8GB/178

All In One $499. A bit more than I wanted to spend because with the tax it came to about 530, but how often do we buy a computer? If it makes me happy it's worth it.

@SandySparkles ...It's sad but there won't be anymore threads from me. Have you noticed my threads being removed the last three nights? I feel terrible about it because so many really enjoyed them. I am looking forward to my computer delivery though. It was my daughter who kept telling me "You don't need this and you don't need that, and you shouldn't spend more than this." That's when I said, no more, it's my money and I'll spend whatever I want to, geeeez.

I did notice that several of your threads were removed, and was baffled as to the reason.🤷‍♀️ I was hoping after reading yesterday's post, that things would be worked out, and was searching for one of your funny threads, when I signed on today. In fact, it is always the first thing I do now when I sign on. It has always been a pleasure to begin my forum experience for the day, with a laugh, or a few feel-good nuggets of inspiration.😊

It takes a great deal of passion, and dedication to do what you do with such regularity. Your many admirers share similar sentiments; as evidenced by the outpouring of support you received when your painful diagnosis was recently announced.😐

You are such a STRONG spirit, and by your own admission; very resourceful! I'm confident you will find a way, to continue to provide an enjoyable forum experience.👍👍 Perhaps a dedicated thread for meeting, and discussing events of the day, triumphs, etc. Hmmm...🤔

I thank you for having provided a welcome forum meeting place, and know you will do well, in whichever direction you decide to pursue.😀

@SandySparkles ... Hello my dear friend, as always I am touched deeply by your kind words. I may not agree with the situation but there is nothing I can do about it. I have been a member of the boards since 2007, thirteen years, and have prided myself for always doing the right thing and I still believe that what I was doing is right, and there is room for negotiation. I will miss the interaction between you and the other posters, and always looked forward to corresponding with all of you.

Regarding the computer I ordered, the reviews are fantastic. I told my daughter she should always check the reviews before ordering anything, and if there are more negative than positive, move on.

How does the saying go? "It isn't over until it's over."
