I Am Not Wasting This Perfect Fall Day.

What a day! A ton of sun, blue sky, cool and breezy.

I had no plans to go out but I can't waste this weather.

After I grab some lunch I am going for a ride. Open the sunroof and turn on the radio and I'm good. I will need a long sleeve top but that's ok. No A/C needed, no heater. Perfect.

Even around the block keeping in mind around the block here is miles.

What is everyone up to today? Anything fun?

Beautiful weather here too! Plenty of sunshine with a high of 70. Sitting in my sunroom enjoying the backyard views. Will probably take a walk outside later.

Sounds heavenly. Still warm here, in high to mid 80s, but when we have our perfect day, I'll gather up my dogs and take a drive in the mountains, hoping to see some migrating elk and golden Aspen trees.

@Kachina624 That sounds great. Your dogs will love it. While we live in what's called the Endless Mountains and they are beautiful, it can't compare to what you have.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 Yes...a perfect day. I opened all the windows in the house so I can enjoy the cool breeze. Love this time of year. 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁

@CrazyKittyLvr2 Enjoy your ride! I have another day of staying ( a week now) inside due to smoky air. It should clear out they say sometime tomorrow. We are suppose to get rain this afternoon which will be a blessing.

It was errand day for me, bank, pharmacy, and groceries. 60 degrees and bright sunshine make errand day a pleasure. September in NY. Is beautiful ! 🥰

It's 86 here at 1:20. Will still get a little warmer. I'm in central FL, on the gulf coast. I miss New England so much this time of year. Anyway, I will be happy without a hurricane coming near us!

Cool and overcast today. I will likely be staying in all day, doing some things around the house unless I decide to go to Costco later this afternoon.

Oh, that sounds heavenly. It's just a so-so day here. It's hazy, they said smoke from the fires out west have travelled east. It's high up in the atmosphere but enough to block out the sunlight. Strong winds over the weekend will clear it out. It's 62, a cooler than average for mid September.

Technically the autumnal equinox (the first day of fall/autumn) isn't until September 22.

We're still in the last days of summer.

On September 22 we will have equal number of hours of daylight and darkness, as the days grow shorter, and the nights grow longer, until December 21, when we will have the shortest day of the year.

Waiting for the work day to end before doing the same.

This is our last 80 degree day for a while after Sally went through so we are drying out and then I get that kind of perfect weather all weekend. I can't wait. I've been waiting to air everything out.

I hope it's dry enough tonight to cut the lawn and then I have some shopping plans up my sleeve.

It's still hot here in Georgia. Not as hot as it has been. We had a slight cool down after two days of rain but temps will be in low 80's soon. Love Fall weather. My most favorite time of year.

@SeaMaiden Thank you. My ride was great. Went for about 45 minutes.

I feel terrible for all of the people enduring these fires and the smoke/air quality issues. The pictures are just so horrific.

Today was the 1st day you could see blue sky. Prior to today it was a white haze.

I certainly hope you get the rain..

Since September is the first month of Meteorological Autumn, it certainly is a gorgeous Fall day in the Northeast!

A beautiful day is so hopeful. Enjoy. I love a good ride in nature. Lovely September day in central midwest. Working from home - checking emails. Relieving hubs with his garage sale. Made a lunch run. Daughter at home this week. Love her to pieces. It's a beautiful day.

I did my yard work and laundry today so I can relax the weekend. The weather is so nice. The low tonight will be around 49.

It's only 57 here, but sunny and breezy with a beautiful blue sky. I just came in from a quick walk around the block. Love this cool weather.

Yesterday was gorgeous. I went home from work and took a nice walk with my dog.

If it wasn't so windy it would be better.

We are going out this evening for dinner on an outdoor patio. Thank goodness it's heated. LOL
