Have you received an e-mail from the Census Bureau regarding a Covid information survey? I did verify that it is legit, Census.gov, Did you take the survey or just delete it?

Questions will include: Are you getting enough food to eat? How often have you been bothered by feeling depressed or hopeless? Did you wait to see a doctor because of the pandemic? How many hours are you spending teaching any children in your home?

This must be a Phase 2 survey because there was already a Phase 1 than ended in June(?).

This second survery is supposed to have started last week and will finish at the end of October.

We did not receive one for Phase 1 and have not received one for Phase 2.

It says on the census site that they will send you 3 reminders if you haven't completed the survey and were chosen to do so. It says the survey takes about 20 minutes to answer.

I've never received emails from the census bureau. But I do get QVC surveys and I take those so I would probably take this one.

The food part would be ok though, for folks who aren't able to have sufficient food requirements. I'm sure there are plenty of folks who aren't able to access enough food.

I believe participation is voluntary for those surveys. I kept getting pesky calls from the census workers and they wouldn’t identify the purpose of the call. My census was completed online.

I got a survey similar to that with questions like 'do have enough to eat', 'are you depressed'. do you feel hopeless' from the city I live in. It also came by e-mail.

Sounds like some of the same questions included in the multipage questionaire I have to fill out every year before my annual physical. Also includes questions like "do you ever hear voices when no one is there", "do you ever feel someone is trying to hurt you". I might not have the exact same words but that's the jist of it".

If I got one I wouldn't even bother open it and it would be deleted.

I filled the original Census on line and don't remember if I had to give them an e-mail address or not.

It may have been similar but it was directly related to Covid. The city was trying to identify people who were alone and needed help. This was at the very beginning.
