Love that pink couch. When I go furniture shopping all I see is browns, greys and black leather. Ugh

I am so over greys, dingy whites, barn doors, stupid signs on the wall like EAT, Gather, Pray, Family. Hope that Joanna Gains and her farm house decor goes away soon!

It's like that for everything. I remember when you used to have a lot of colors to choose from when you bought a car,

You could pick the outside and the inside. Now most of them are white or some dark color......

So true ! 80% of cars, vans, SUV's in Amarillo, Tx are white ! So, what did we get ? White ! LOL They met our price and off we went.

I'm keeping a old cabbage rose comfy chair and hassock because no way now days will you be able to find any color any more. All the furniture looks like the decor on Bonaza with little joe Cartwright.

@Annabellethecat66 So true about cars... Used to be scads of choices and combinations. Now, you're lucky if there are five or six and the exterior pretty much determines the interior color... I miss some of the colors cars used to come in...

Not sure I would call that "pink" exactly. It's nice but I couldn't live with such a light color - I am a slob.

Oh, I want #2 so bad the one with the 2 cushions. Maybe when hubbo goes on to his reward hahahhahahaha He wouldn't have a pink couch in house. He won't wear pale pink shirts. LOL

We used to have an antique victorian couch with fancy wood all around it.

It was a color similar to the mauve/pinkish color...maybe leaning more on wine color. Oh! And it was also velvet.

It would have fit right in with a 'lady of the night's' boudoir..... It even had down feathers in the very fluffy huge cushions.

We bought two very pale blue (horse hair) chairs to go with it. They were all antiques.

I too love the one with the large tufted ottoman. I'm kicking myself all over the place for selling my sage green velvet ottoman just like that one. 😢

I waited three plus's months for my upholstered pieces to be made but it was worth it to get a fabric you love.

#3 is a style I appreciate a lot and would fit in well with my current furnishings.

ETA: However, the pink would be out of place in my home!

So thrilled to hear others don't care of Joanna Gaines. I've never understood why people were drawn to her show with junky or repurposed and "country" stuff. To me, it was always too cluttered and cheap looking.

Give me great woods, wonderful upholsteries with lovely textures and classic pieces without the "fluff" stuff covering every surface.

I agree. Love that pink color.

So great to have a variety of different colors to pick from. I was walking the other day and I saw this little car and it was like a lavender color. It was gorgeous! Then, I saw this large house and it was freshly painted --- kind of a lilac with a darker kind of a hydrangea purpole trim! Stunning!!!!

Basic colors, sure, they're great. But it's nice to have some unexpected, unusual colors, in furnishings and cars to pick from as well.
