According to a follow-up post, the picture was at an angle that made the antler look almost like it would go into the eye. Update also said the antler is loose and will drop off on its own.

**I forgot to note the info was to respond to @Mz iMac about the antler question.

@MamaWick I knew when I "peeked" in I was going to be overwhelmed with the... Awwwww... factor, and I was absolutely correct! The first and fourth pics not only tugged at my heart, they wrapped a bow around it.❤😊

Love your pics. Do you feed them at all? We have a deer feeder set up that disburses corn twice a day. We also put out mineral blocks for them. We just love watching them.

@Mz iMac. He has only been back once. I didn't get a picture but did post GOOD NEWS about him, that the antler was loose and flopping!!! No longer near his eye. Yay!!!!

@kitty60. We do feed them 4-5x a week, but never corn. Please Google corn for deer.

I've been praying for St. Francis to help him out (and I'm not even Christian)!
