Well it "finally" happened...HSN & Mail Innovations...or

maybe things I've purchased over the last 6 months have qualified for UPS delivery.

I ordered my Beekman products on 7/17--- waiting waiting waiting-- they were "stuck" in processing mode and now just received in "Orlando" for transfer to USPS. Expected delivery 8/1😳

good grief I could drive to Orlando or even HSN (20-30 min from my house) to pick them up faster.

Has HSN using Mail Innovations now? Or have I just been lucky and not need anything quickly.

Until corona goes away way it's gonna be with everything.

New normal is what I think.

My husband, poor old thing, gets excited about a baseball game finally airing, then, they announce few hrs. before it's called off.

I'd say sports are out for the yr.

Walmart got in small freezers for 207. Tall vertical ones I saw last Thurs.

I bet they blew out by Friday morning.

When we eat out now, I bring from home a 'real' fork, salt and pepper shakers and napkins.

@homedecor1 If your package is coming Mail Innovations the tracking will say so. Is that what it says? I would be very surprised if HSN started using it since they are always so prompt with delivery.

My packages ship from HSN the same way they ship from QVC. Some are delivered by UPS and some are handed off from UPS to USPS for delivery. It has been that way for years.

They should give everyone a choice on shipping: Pay more and get it faster or not worry and get it slower. That's what it boils down to.

It goes all over the place because the biggest expense is loading and reloading it, so the huge trucks and planes get routed here and there but your stuff gets loaded and unloaded--handled--fewer times therefore costs less.

It's all about $$$$$. You can pay more or wait especially since all shippers are overwhelmed. Lots of unmarked trucks now deliver packages here, not just the fleet ones. Usually it's still a UPS or USPS driver though. And it is at irregular times.

Q has shipped to Chicago facility 30 minutes away. Then the package rested their for 3 days then continued backward to Wisconsin, Iowa and back to Chicago more than the 10 day deliver date.

@homedecor1 I may be incorrect, but I believe shipments made this way are received by UPS and held there since UPS is inundated with packages they can't handle quickly. This was confirmed by my UPS person. When you track the packages you see USPS notified and package on way. It is not on way then it is still processing at UPS. Very misleading. Even "package accepted by USPS does not mean that the package is at the US postoffice just that USPS told UPS they would accept package. Worse then this is FED EX's Sure Post which I believe has been abandoned for poor service.

Many major news outlets are reporting that the USPS is in dire financial situation. Apparently Congress is refusing to allocate more money.

How frustrating, especially since - yea...you could drive to their warehouse assuming it's local to pick your order up. OY - whatta pain. Be patient, there's nothing you can do about it, just be thankful you're not waiting on an order of food.

Same. I am waiting on an HSN order going on two weeks now. It was the last birthday gift I had in the pipeline. I am wondering if it will show up in time.

Unfortunately, unless it's coming from Amazon, I am done with ship to home. I can't get anything anymore and I don't need the stress.

i've been getting HSN deliveries by Mail Innovations for at least a year. i think the "Processing" means packages sit on a truck until there are enough of them to go to a certain Hub. then there is no tracking for a few days. then suddenly after 4 days the shipment arrives at a nearby Hub there's a lot of activity. 9 times it of 10 it's the typical ship time and it would be 5 days if USPS wasn't involved.

I ordered the set of two Safety Grip frying pans with lids and although heavy came USPS from HSN. I was surprised? My Samatha Brown Backpack also was shipped USPS. Most of our rural carriers here have to use their personal vechicles. They do receive a flat vechicle use payment as part of their salary but need a small truck.

Several times extra carrier support was added some days just to deliver packages. This has happened alot this summer. It used to be a only few weeks during heavy Holiday Mail this happened. They are not happy I am certain. My mail used to come by 4 pm and now often closer to 7 pm. Longer work days.

I see less and less of UPS deliveries at my home and more USPS which used to be the reverse except for small packages. They have requested larger rural mail boxes but still have large and heavier items that would not fit anyway.

yes my HSN packages normally take 1-3 days!

I rechecked and called HSN who gave me estimated delivery.

Now Im hesitant to even keep the Beekman products because they are now selling newer version as "Bloom". Their products are now in Ulta so maybe the days of QVC & HSN are going away soon. For sure I'd drive 8 minutes to buy.

@homedecor1 I don't order from HSN very often, but I could always count on quick delivery when I did. I hate to hear that they're using Mail Innovations now.

You can pay $40 for UPS My Choice premium, and get unlimited free upgrade to UPS delivery for a year. I just renewed mine with a discount code, for $30. Just like I did last year. It pays for itself.

Never heard of this .... until I ordered something on ShopHQ almost a month ago. Was to be delivered by 7/18 ...... it MIGHT arrive today.
