Your Favorite Memorable Line From a TV Show

Thanks to @Styleovertrend for her thread re: favorite lines from a movie.

There are some great lines from TV shows as well. One of my favorites is from The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Rhoda says to Mary, as she begins to eat a piece of chocolate, "I don't know why l bother to put this in my mouth. I should just apply it directly to my hips."

Another classic from the same show is in the very first episode. Mary is applying for a job in the newsroom. Mr. Grant says, "You've got spunk!" Mary smiles. Then he says, "l hate spunk!" She gets the job anyway, and the rest is history...

Another classic is from Everybody Loves Raymond. Ray is having one of his frequent disagreements with his mother, in front of the family, and she feels unappreciated. She says, "One day you'll turn around and l won't be here." He slowly turns around in a circle, looks at her, and says, "Not today!"

😂 I used to love that show! Lou had so many gut busting one-liners.😁

Mine is the Golden Girls episode where Sophia and Blanche are fighting over Fernando, the Cuban " Don Juan".

Blanche comes out in a sexy nightgown and seductively says, "Excuse me, I'm gonna go take a long, hot steamy bath with barely enough water to cover my perky bosoms". Sophia is quick to reply, "You're only gonna go sit in an INCH of water?".😂😂😂

Another is when Blanche called Sophia a raisin in sneakers.There were several classics in that episode, but those are the best.😂

If your going strictly from a TV show I would have to say Friends. Phoebe is in Ross' apartment directly across from Monica's apartment. She sees Monica and Chandler starting to take each other's clothes off (this was when only Joey and Rachel knew they were a couple), Phoebe yells "my eyes, my eyes"! Lisa Kudrow won an Emmy that year. I'm not sure if it was the same episode, Monica and Chandler were at it again, Ross sees and says "get off of my sister"! Monica really needed to buy some blinds.

I guess Norm on Cheers had my favorite line about it being a dog eat dog world and he was wearing Milk Bone underwear.

Gomer Pyle USMC show when he would say "Golly" and " Surprise surprise surprise "

and The A Team when Hannibal would say "I love it when a plan comes together". And the Iconic Tarzan yell from Carol Burnett and of course Lucille Ball when she would cry WHaaaaaa!
