It amazes me they are still coming around since 3 houses are being built behind us.

Not sure how many, but we have had upwards of 15-16 before.

Speaking of eyes, I can't stop thinking about the poor deer with the deformed antler. Is that one still coming around?

I showed the pic to other people and some were hoping it was just the angle of the picture you took that made it look so bad (painful!)

Can you get another pic of it.

And is there a vet or someone who would be willing to help it?

Your photos are beautiful; they capture the beauty of these animals. It was such a coincidence: I viewed your photos a couple of hours ago, then shortly after that, there were 2 doe and 2 fawns under an old apple tree in our yard. They were eating little green apples that a recent downpour shook loose from the tree.

@Lucky Charm that was the only time I saw him. I spoke with one of our county's game wardens who said there was nothing that could be done. I hope he will start rubbing the velvet off and it will fall off since i thought it was a bit loose.

No,did not get any pictures. Another cute scene was at night: we had a mama and 3 baby raccoons in our yard, outside the laundry room door where they found some peanuts I had put out for birds. Baby raccoons are just the cutest!
