on the CDC website, there are 431 approved Products with Emerging Viral Pathogens AND Human Coronavirus claims for use against SARS-CoV-2. Lysol bathroom cleaner and Lysol wipes are just two of the 431 listed.

@EatWell no... it is pretty toxic... a lot of chemicals. Do not do that.

The first one on the CDC list is common household BLEACH.

That's all I've ever used for the past 40/50 years - products containing bleach.

Currently - half and half / bleach and water in a spray contained.

@EatWell Please do NOT spray it on your skin. These products contain chemicals that can be harmful to your skin. The same goes for bleach, chlorine and other disinfectants.

But bleach is very damaging to fabrics and some other surfaces, so it isn't my first go to for many applications.

@JaneMarple If you can find them. I have been lookiing for Lysol spray for the longest time. My guess is Lysol products are going to hospitals first. It would be a good time to have Lysol (or whoever makes it) stock.

CNN)The US Environmental Protection Agency has approved two Lysol products as effective against the novel coronavirus when used on hard, non-porous surfaces.

Lysol Disinfectant Spray and Lysol Disinfectant Max Cover Mist meet the EPA's criteria for use against the SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for the ongoing pandemic, based on laboratory testing that found both products kill the virus two minutes after contact, the agency announced in a statement Monday.
While there are more than 420 products on the list of disinfectants that the EPA says are strong enough to ward off "harder-to-kill" viruses than the novel coronavirus, the two Lysol products are the first to have been tested directly against the virus and proved effective.

I'm still using up my supply of Lysol wipes I bought last year. One of our major chain groceries (Meijer) was running them for 89 cents a canister (the small 35 count ones) about every six weeks or so, in their buy 4 save $4 promos. No limits. I had a ton of them before Covid struck, but haven't seen that brand in stores since. I'm sure I'll never see those prices again.
