I just looked out our MBR window to see if any were still enjoying the shade only to find Fawndlee has joined Fawn du Lac, Henry Fawnda, and Fawndoo.

@MamaWick I can't get over the "babies" resting & sleeping out in the open! Not in my neck of the woods. Babies stay in the woods well hidden while the mothers are grazing.

Reminds me of the time a raccoon family (mama and five babies) raided my persimmon tree at night.

To tell the truth, it was a frightening sight. They were swinging from here to there, causing a lot of excitement. Since they were within feet of the house, I was actually nervous and disturbed by them.

A few nights before, there was only the mama and one baby, and I found it a charming sight. But five! Scary!

Your view is much more benign and lovely.

@MamaWick I absolutely LOVE the cute names you've given members of your "herd".😍 We have deer here too, and encounter them regularly-in town and on trails. However, I have never been fortunate enough to witness scenes as PRECIOUS as these. Your pics of this growing family makes me smile.😊
