topic Painting cabinets and can't get a smooth finish in Community Chat

I'm painting cabinets (water based paint) in the bathroom and I can't seem to get a smooth glassy finish. I tried using a roller for cabinets and a good quality brush and the paint still comes out with brush streaks or texture from the roller. I primed with Zinsser primer and am sanding between coats but no luck. Any suggestions? Should I leave this to the pros?
