I Feel Like I'm Going To Combust.

It is so hot w/just awful humidity. I feel like a Perdue chicken and my little timer popped up.

I guess we are going to get storms and they will bring the temp down but now it's just unbearable.

I am too old for extremes in temps. No Hades hot and no cold enough to freeze my body parts off.

The heat and humidity knock me out, my energy and motivation levels are at their lowest. That type of weather is definitely not my comfort zone !

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I'm with you! The T Storms have been threatening all afternoon, and nothing has happened to ease the heat and humidity! We're supposed to get some tomorrow. I have aphids on my roses, on my rudbeckia, and something is eating my phlox leaves. I just went out to spray insecticidal soap on everything! It was so humid, even now!

I am in lower Westchester County NY, it was failry nice here, I was at our lake from 11 30 until about 3 and then back before dinner

We had that last week, even here in the desert. It was 100° Wednesday with thunderstorms in the area. Very rare for us. We all have air conditioning though, don't you? We're back to normal with humidity at 8% today.

I am in the Santa Clara Valley in No Cal. We had humid days as well. Not as bad as other states, but wow...no likey.....NO Likey! Sweating like crazy, the air almost damp. The weather in Ca has jut been off the rails. One day dry, hot 107. Next day cool, then rain and 45 degree nights Then humid hot. We are back to hot hot today, after 1 beautiful 73 degree spring like day

Even with air conditioning my body just seems to recognize high humidity. If I go out even briefly my joints and energy are done for the day. I'm so delighted that the next few days in Chicago are forecast to be 70-ish with low humidity.

Feel lightheaded on hot and humid days - even when I'm inside with the A/C running.

I have never lived where it gets humid but I have vacationed in areas of humidity and it is not for me. Besides making my hair curl I would feel like I always needed a shower!

I'm in NY. state, but it can get very humid, and this is one of those days. I did outdoor chores early, and you could still cut the air with a knife. It is my least favorite weather.

I feel like I live in a haze of humidity in the summer in MI except by the Great Lakes.

If you've got AC running and you're still uncomfortable, you need to change the setting or get it checked out or both. With AC there's no reason to be uncomfortable.

I also dislike hot weather and humidity. This week in Chicago it was (until just about 6:00 unbearable here. Used to look forward to summer and outdoors, but no more. Wearing that mask makes it even worse.

The heat I can handle @CrazyKittyLvr2 but that blasted humidity, not so much. Thankfully, I use my A/C, and not sparingly.

Heat just exhausts me. Heat and humidity is even worse.

One thing I've never understood is why some people are positively energized by hot weather ..... and some are knocked out by it.

Anybody got an answer to that one?

I am one of the few people who Love summer with the high heat and humidity. I am always cold. Here in PA we get both during the summer months.

I was born this way. My father was too. I guess It might be genetic...

I hate the heat but the humid days are draining! Today was 91 and humid!

I recall the days when there was no air conditioning.

The first I remember was the Village theater. There were flags decorating it with fans blowing making them appear like icicles. They didn't sell drinks there, but had a freezer with frozen candy. The zero bar had a polar bear on the wrapper.
At night I'd sleep on our porch glider. We drank ice water and lemonade, sweet iced tea. Ate watermelon.

My parents got an air conditioner for their bedroom when I was in high school. Once I slept under it on the floor and was very stiff the next morning.
And then there was cooking fried chicken on hot days!

I'm thankful for air conditioning!

I hate the heat here in southern NY. Husband hates our air conditioning. It makes for a lovely summer!
