topic Do you recycle / repurpose items? in Community Chat

Was looking over HSN items, saw Sweather Boot Cuffs (963-301).. I have made pillows out of sweaters, always wondered what I could use the cut off sleeves for.

I have bought extra sheets when redoing bedding to make curtains and throw pillows and recover a bench seat, even once took a small section and put on canvas to hang as picture accent. In high school made purse from top part of jeans.

Just wondering if others recycle / repurpose any items when they have they have lost their original purpose but not yet ready for the "rag" or "trash" path.
