1. Happiness comes when we stop complaining about the troubles we have and offer thanks for all the troubles we don't have.

2. Be gentle with yourself, you're doing the best you can.

3. "Sometimes you have to give yourself a pep talk. Like, "Hello. You're a * woman, don't be sad, you got this, and I love you."

4. Remember, for everything you have lost, you have gained something else. Without the dark, you would never see the stars.

5. "Happiness cannot be traveled to or owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.

6. You have the power to make yourself happy.

7. No one ever injured their eye sight by looking on the bright side.

8. No matter how much it hurts now, someday you will look back and realize your struggles changed your life for the better.

9. Stars can't shine without darkness.

10. The sun will rise and we we will try again.

11. Focus on the good.
