Space X Launch

Is today.

This is the first manned launch since the last space shuttle launch in 2011.

I am scared for the two astronauts.

So much can go wrong, even though they have done extensive testing beforehand.

The launch is scheduled for 2 hours and 25minutes from now, or 1:35 (ish) weather permitting.

I am praying for the safety of the astronauts.🙏

After watching what happen to the Space Shuttle Challenger in 1986. I know longer watch Space Launches makes me very uneasy.

Although I am much further south than Cape Canaveral, I think the launch will be delayed. The weather is horrible. The launch is scheduled for less than 1 and 1/2 hours from now, but I think the weather will get worse. Maybe I will be wrong

I am doing well, thank you for asking!☺

When I think of how far we have come in a relatively short amount of time, it just blows my mind.

My grandfather father was born in 1891, and was alive for the Wright Brothers flight, and lived to see man walk on the moon.

What he must have thought!

I was 10 when the very first shuttle launched in April 1981, and 40 when the last one did.

I remember the tragedy of Challenger and Columbia.

This is just the next step in space exploration.

I'll be holding my breath when they launch!

I am also watching this, and it is riveting! We have come so much further in space exploration than I ever could have imagined. It was refreshing to see Bill Nye and William Shatner chime in😁. I am praying for a successful launch.🙏🙏😊

Similar to horse races, it's very nerve-wracking, to me.

Always wishing astronauts and horses well.

Let's send wishes to their lucky stars (pun intended) for their safety and successful trip.

Because it is in Mans DNA to explore, and if we ever want to put a human on Mars, then we need to go through these steps first.
