Gosh, he's a big baby. His head is almost the size of hers - maybe its the camera angle. Looks more like his side of the family.

He is such a cutie. I read yesterday that she and Harry have signed a book deal. Maybe they will put more photos of him in their book.

Observation: When the Cambridge kids' birthday photos are released it's all about the kids. They are the focus of the photo. Recent examples: Louis and Charlotte.

This one is all about Meghan and Archie. It appears that Meghan didn't want to miss a photo op!

OMG On the People site there is a video from the Instagram account: Meghan reading the storybook to Archie who is turning the pages. Meghan often looks up from the book and straight into the camera.

I got the impression it was both a birthday release and a Meghan demo for more voiceover work! She's shameless promoting herself! 👎

I've never known of a child who hasn't learned to walk by their first birthday, some are walking at 10 months. Still, surely he is walking/standing while holding onto furniture.

It's not even a family photo since Harry is missing and he is the only reason people are interested in Archie

My daughter was walking by the time she was 1. Most babies are sitting up alone around 6-7 months. A picture of just the baby would have been nice. He is a big kid!

It's a photo of Archie sitting in his mother's lap. I wish posters would stop trying to make more out of it than it really is.

I'm sure there are plenty of photos of Archie sitting alone. I'm sure there are plenty of photos with Harry included.

Wow, he's a big one-year-old! I think the photo's adorable, and so is he.

I also see a definite resemblance between Archie and Meghan's dad.

I'm making of it exactly what it is. Archie's birthday photo release with Meghan in the photos. IMO Archie should have been the sole focus for his birthday release. It's his day. Fine if Meghan wants to be in other photos with him on other days. But she hasn't done that.
Stealing the limelight in my opinion.
