I could make a very long list of what I won't be doing any time soon , but that list is meaningless unless you know whether I might have done those things if there weren't the viral challenges.

I doubt they'd even allow Americans onboard. We're a major hotspot. Some other countries, maybe.

Norwegian Cruise Line re-startes their cruses July 1, 2020.

Not doing any cruises in 2020 for sure. May never cruise again; just feeling different about crusing in general.

There are a couple of cruise ships that are wondering out there now, can not unload anywhere. Can't imagine anyone wanting to on a cruise.

No that's the last place I'd go! I love cruises but not now...

Plus I was on a cruise when the NuroVirus broke out ... 15 days of he## - no port stops, food served in rooms, and quarantined to certain areas of ship.

I am an avid cruiser and I'll be on a 15 day cruise in October, if all goes according to plan. The one I did have cancelled, I have rebooked for October of next year.

Who else,other than Americans, could even get on board? I don't think the borders are open for anyone to fly in (but I haven't been paying attention.) I think Americans will be the only ones on ship (other than crew)

Wonder what ports would be open? I suppose after so long, the islands may be hurting for tourist dollars and may loosen their restrictions. Plus, more $$ spent on the private islands!

That being said, there are so many other places one could travel to that is not a cruise ship! Don't know when I'll get on another again.

@MamaWick -not about the Carnival cruise which I won't be on like all of us won't! but wanted to tell you,

my uncle got to see the Dalai Lama years ago who gave him 2 sets of beads to give to my sister and me. I don't know what happened to them. We were young so I didn't appreciate all he was but did know he was someone revered and honored. Later I thought that was pretty special that my uncle got to meet with him.

My uncle got to travel around the world and would bring us a special doll from every country he visited.

I also think kindness is one of the most important qualities a human being can have.
