Wearing mask.

When we all beginning to return to going out of our homes, how long will you (if you do) continue to wear mask? I think I may continue until we have a vaccine or at least until we know if we will have another spread of the virus in the Fall. I am still concerned about our safety. How long do you think people will wear mask?

Whenever they open our area, I will be in no rush to go anywhere. I will stay put and see how it goes.

I see lots of people not wearing a mask now. I think it will be based on age and health. I plan to wear mine through the summer and maybe into fall. I don't have anything underlying conditions but tend to be a cautious person.

whenever our governor says that masks are no longer required in stores or on public transportation, then i will not be wearing one.

I wear a mask anytime I go anywhere. I haven't even thought about a time coming when I won't need to wear it. I'm in no hurry to stop wearing it. And all I'm doing in curbside pickup at wal mart, kroger and walgreens.

So far, I haven't worn a mask. As of 8 pm last evening they are mandatory for going into stores in PA. I haven't gone to a store in two weeks. I hope I do not have to go again for a long while.

As soon as they lift the mandatory wearing if the masks, I'll be happy.

I stay home. I have only been out of the house three time since March.

Here in Florida, from what I see, there aren’t many people wearing masks now. Almost no social distancing. Horribly crowded stores.

I’m not ready to risk my life among the multitudes of fools in this state so I’m planning to stay home as much as possible for as long as possible. If I have to go out I will wear a mask but, from what I have heard, it would help me more if others did, too.

We have a long way to go to be able to say we got rid of this virus. I’m not convinced it will be gone by fall so it might just still be here rather than come back.

I live in NYC, the governor extended the quarantine to May 15. I looked at Amazon to buy a box of 50 disposable masks. I wouldn't get it at the earliest until May 14. I'm wondering if it pays to buy them, how long will we be required to wear masks?

The purpose of the mask is to prevent you, a possible carrier, from giving the disease to someone else. The fabric, from which handmade and cheap medical masks are made, is too loosely woven to prevent the microscopic CoVi19 from passing through so it serves as little protection for the wearer.

I only wear a mask when driving patients. I'm out & about everyday & see the nutty things people do with their masks...good grief, it's stomach turning. Masks are easy to find in my area but you have to search for disposable gloves & wipes...Dollar Tree & Dollar General have been a good source for them but getting more hit & miss now.

Masks are mandatory in grocery stores where I live. Number of people in each store at a time is limited, and arrows on floors allow us to go in only one direction in a store. Cashiers are protected behind plexiglas barriers and wear masks, etc. The number of cases in my county has really risen in the last ten days or so. We have had 74 deaths, 67 this week.

I haven't worn one yet. My wife likes getting out so she does the shopping. I haven't been anywhere other than the hospital at the 1st of the month, no mask, but they did require testing to enter the hospital.

One thing I know for sure, when the ice rink opens, ain't no way I am gonna wear a mask. After my 1st heart attack with Aspiration Pneumonia, my Pulmonologist insisted I wear a mask because of the cold air in the rink.

Talk about "hard to breathe" when doing my fast intervals! Will wait and play everything by ear until "that time comes".

Now that we are being forced to wear masks I'm less confident being around people. Very doubtful that people are going to wash them after every use. Most people in the store were touching them or just wearing them wrong.

I live in the lower mainland area of Vancouver, B.C. Canada and even before a pandemic a lot of asians would wear face masks in the mall or grocery stores. So it's not unusual to me to see someone wearing a face mask at all.

I will probably continue to wear a face mask and I keep an extra one in my car and one in my purse. I have some disposable face masks that I wash and re-use and I also made some and those are washable and re-usable. Right now I wear a different face mask every day and wash the dirty one in the sink with soap and hot water and let it air dry.

I do think when the weather is hotter outside, it will be difficult to wear a face mask though as a mask can feel claustrophobic at times.

When I grocery shop, I wear a face mask. But I see a lot of people who aren't wearing one and that includes store employees. Some of the employees at the checkouts are wearing face masks but the employees restocking shelves or picking groceries for customers who are doing curbside pickup or home delivery are not wearing any face masks at all.

The only big grocery store that I've seen all of the employees wearing face masks and disposable gloves is the T & T Supermarket which is an asian grocery store. They are owned by Loblaws which also owns the Real Canadian Superstore chain of grocery stores and the Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy chain of stores. You would think that across their various businesses that they would have a uniform safety response to Covid-19 as far as employees and customers go since they are all essential businesses in Canada but that is not the case at all.

@willdob3 Where in Florida do you live? I am outside of Fort Lauderdale. Wearing a mask in public areas is mandadory now when one will be near others such as grocery shopping or picking up food. If they don't have a mask, they wear a scarf or t-shirt. When I have been out, people obey. Many like myself wear gloves as well. I see people also giving a respectful distance from each other as well, with only a few transgressions.

I listen to health professionals and scientists. I'll take my cue from them. I do think warmer weather will find gloves harder to wear and even masks, but I don't believe this is a hoax so I'll continue to protect you from me and me from you.

I’m in Central Florida, between Tampa and Orlando. I wouldn’t dream of going in a store here. If the parking lot is packed and there are no lines to get in, they cannot be practicing social distancing. I’ve got a friend who works at WalMart and she said it is horrible how people are acting. I am not sure why the store is allowing that. I know that WM announced they were limiting people in stores and making sure there is social distancing. But other stores appear the same. I don’t have to be out much but, when I do, l don’t see many masks at all. They are not mandatory here.
