@tansy She makes beautiful quilts. She went a couple of classes but it pretty much self-taught.

I, sadly, can't sew to save my life.

I don't have any masks and I don't sew, so I guess I'll continue not having any.

Those are cute! As long as it's two layers of fabric with paper in the middle they will work very well.

@chickenbutt Honey, tie a scarf around your face or order some fabric glue and cut the back out of an old shirt.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 - Used my stash last weekend to make about 1 dozen masks for my daughter and granddaughters. Then I made some for a dear friend and of course my hubby and me.

@riley1 DD is going to make more tomorrow. She has so much fabric it's stupid.

She has an entire huge wall of cubbies full off fabric. If she sees a fabric that makes her happy she buys it.

Every new baby in the family gets a quilt, as do newlyweds and graduates.

@chickenbutt T shirts mask are easy to make no sewing. Lots of YouTube videos.

Two women in our Community are making them for a local hospital. They ran out of elastic and couldn't find any locally so they solicited via email. I was happy to help with the small amount I had.

I sure hope this kindness continues once this virus is over.

Check YouTube there is a video of how to make a no-sew mask with a sock. Very easy and just takes a few cuts

@coffee drinker - Just a thought for your friend - if she can't find 1/4'' elastic, either get 1/2'' or 1'' and cut it - I could only get 1/2'' to start and cut it in half. Then, I was lucky enough to find 1/4''.

@riley1Thank you for the suggestion. I should have mentioned, that's what she's going to do with the wider elastic.
