Amongst all the anxiety of Coronavirus saturation dear hubby made me a birthday cake and dinner today! I am grateful for him and for reaching my 56th birthday. It’s been a rough road of drama, but here we all are caring for the human race again. Be well and safe to all! ❤️

Last year I turned 60 My Mom brought a birthday. cake to Easter dinner I had not had a cake since I lived at home 34 years ago.. Truly Touching.

Happy Birthday Angel!

I know what you mean about celebrating a birthday during a pandemic. My husband's birthday was St. Patrick's Day and everything closed down including restaurants a few days before his birthday so I scrambled to find a steak to make for his birthday dinner. Luckily the asian grocery store that I also visited has a nice bakery and I bought him a fruit and whip cream cake to celebrate!

Happy Birthday!
My birthday is tomorrow and my youngest daughter’s is the day after. We can’t see each other except for FaceTime right now so it will be a very different bday for both of us, she has all her kids and her DH and even her MIL who came to visit and can’t go home, so they will have a nice celebration. It will just be me and DH tomorrow. Am fine with that because I have already had all the birthdays I desire! It has turned cold again, so staying in and feeling safe and healthy is a great birthday gift.

@TY . My husband's birthday is also St. Patrick's day! We had plans to get together with our adult kids for a birthday brunch the weekend after his birthday but that was postponed indefinitely.

I have been feeling sorry for people and kids that have their birthday's during this time. But at least your hubby still made it special for you. And that's what really matters!

@Angel18 Happy Birthday! I know it's been difficult for those who've had their birthdays during all of this. My son turned 35 on March 25th and we always have a nice dinner here , a cake, and watch a movie. I was sad that we couldn't do it this year as my son is working (essential job) and so is my daughter so we have to keep our distance. I'm a cancer survivor and my husband has a heart condition. But I told them like I'll tell you, what a great Thanskgiving we're going to have, God willing, this will all be behind us.

You have a special man that was so thoughtful.

My husband cooked also, but he never made me a birthday cake. (Pineapple upside down, but that was his, Ha,) 🎂🧁🍰
