At My Local Post Office

This morning I had to pick up a package at post office; while in line the gentleman ahead of me was mailing six rolls of t.p. to North Carolina via priority (his kid couldn't find any near where she lived!

I disagree @Kachina624 , the country has turned extremely selfish. I would do the same thing for a child of mine.

@patbz I plan on shipping a package of tp to my mother this week. She can't find any where she is and I don't feel comfortable with her going out with her aide during this crises.

I will however use postal pick up from my front porch and print out the label online.

Ah, the great toilet paper adventure! Some of my bus peeps could not find TP around here and know I shop at Costco. This past weekend I drove to a few houses, pulled up into the driveway then pitched them a bundle of TP from the boot of my car. It was grand fun. I was able to help, see my peeps via a distance and add fodder to a future chick-lit book of mine. I had extra Milano cookies....individually packaged, two cookies per small package and duct taped packages of cookies on the TP. Now isn't that a visual. Giggles.

Some people treat their kids with tough love. I couldn't do this, if I could help my child ( even an adult one) I would.

@JaneMarple I'd say it was the "child" who was selfish and inconsiderate. TP seems to appear for those who search diligently for it, or who are lucky.

I posted on a thread yesterday about extra TP that I'd purchased for my son and his family, and shipped it to them. He lives in California, was having a HARD time finding some, and I am prepared to send more if they need it. I applaud that father's action.

With all due respect @Kachina624 , have you been out to several stores trying to find toilet paper lately? it's an exhausting experience, some people stop after hitting 5-6 stores! It's not easy when you live in a densely populated area and toilet paper is on everybody's shopping list. After you've taken this trip, get back to us!

I guess some people don´t realize how difficult it is to find toilet paper since some people decide to buy out the stores.

It´s good to see that only ONE person on this post, decided that the Dad should not have done it.

I don't know whether to feel guilty or lucky. When you live where bad winter winds blow (like today)..you stock up on everything. Doing laundry today I just checked my 2 Big (the big size stores stock) 10 - 12 ? rolls. which have been in the basement for 15 years. LOL

Those are emergency supplies - while I continually replenish bathrooms whenever I see getting low. Food freezer = the same.
