I'm Disappointed in My Co-workers

Everybody, except for one, is treating this virus like it's a joke.

It isn't a joke.

This is why I prefer my cats over ( most) people.

My co-workers range in age from early 20's to 65+.

There will always be a cross section of folks who are skeptics of everything. But leadership with honesty and integrity to tell them what is going on, is the key and they apparantly haven't had any good leadership.

Keep in mind the old adage if I don't laugh about it, I'll cry. Humor covers up a lot of tragedy.

Take care of you. My co workers are just that. They are not friends. I dont have to take them in nor do I financially support them.

One co worker's biggest concern was getting her spring break vacation cancelled and she even bought new swimwear for it!

As a society, I swear we get more shallow every single day.

Yes, it could be dark humor, amongst those who have to work. Until my job got suspended last week, we had a bit of this going on

For myself, I only pay attention to what is being asked of, doing all we are being asked where I live. Doing, not doing what feels right. To protect myself, wanting others protected equally. Know that people deal with things in different ways. And often times you just don’t have maybe much in common with some. It’s part of life.

@Anonymous032819 I have/had a friend on Facebook that I finally had to unfriend today because of his comments and feelings about it. According to him we're all stupid for falling for all the Chicken Little sky is falling media coverage and he' the only sane thinker in the country.

It really takes a lot for me to unfriend someone, he just got on my last nerve today with his idiotic comments.

I hear you. My husbands coworkers also seem to think it's a joke. One is hacking up a storm! They all think my husband is crazy because he took lysol wipes in today. He came home early and left them there! Bet 100 bucks, they aren't there tomorrow.

My husband is of senior age and I have just been diagnosed with cancer. So yes, I am terrified!

She hates to cook, because that means that she has to clean afterwards.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice for the greater good, some don't understand that concept. We are all , myself included, a little spoiled, and don't like it when we are told we can't do something. Hopefully, those who are joking really understand the seriousness of this situation, if they don't , woe to those they might be infecting.
