This is a very contagious disease with no vaccine (so far), and no known treatment.

As for me, I have time now to seriously think that NO MORE CHINESE products will be bought by me, if I can help it. I've been saying this for years, and this is the last straw.

DH & I have talked about "a plot", but only for our own amusement and to tone down all our serious discussions on this issue, which can be overwhelming. We're twisted like that.

I think this is serious and something that has been brewing at a simmer and then has suddenly begun to boil over. People need to pay attention and act accordingly by listening to the experts, not the politicians. As for a plot???? Seriously? Who would go to that much trouble when there are so many other ways to wreck havoc.

People who think it's a plot are not operating on all cylinders.

I'm taking it seriously. It's hard not to with the lack of testing, lack of medical supplies for hospitals, empty shelves, closures and so on. That said, there is a bit too much drama but it's necessary to get our attention.

Personally, the threat of this virus is unfortunately real, but I am an optimist.

I don't believe it is anyone's best interest to immerse in negativity even in the face of adversity.

There is a world wide threat, yes, however, neighbors are emailing eachother and offering to run errands, drugstores and doctor offices will come to your car. Bakeries are fixing bagged lunches for children who's only meal is at school. Hopefully all communities are showing the same American spirit of the famous Victory gardens in years past.

Suddenly, a world that seemed somewhat impersonal a few short weeks ago is glowing with care and love for one another in so many ways.

It is a new virus, worthy of caution. People need to take precautions, espically those who are considered high risk of complications. I think the reaction has been over the top.

Panic and fear are tools used to control a population.

I am taken is serious as any contagious disease but no plot involved. The only thing I hate seeing is a man yesterday adding a dozen 24oz. size Ranch Style Beans to his loaded down cart at Walmart Supercenter. If needs to prepare that way then that was his choice, but still all those extra large cans of beans? Serious yes, but not WWIII.
