I know people will spend their money how they wish....I know having some foods that are special occasion food is fun, but my goodness....that price just made me gasp.

I often wonder if people really buy these foods for these prices. Sometimes they have a little portions of side dishes for an outlandish price, I guess people have the money to buy and don't want to cook.

Comes with a dozen eggs????

A less than four pound chicken is Not going to feed that many people, so I think it probably comes with a big hunk of bologna...

Good grief! I could make at least 5 chickens for that price. Ina Garten has a video that tells how to spatchcock a chicken and I can certainly marinate it myself.

I hope it tastes very very good for anyone that purchased it.

In the publishers clearing house leaflet there was a one pound container of flavored peanuts for 5 monthly payments of 2.99. so the chicken would be more than one pound.

Yes, it is. And flattened (butterflied). Apparently, also air-chilled so no added water weight. Still way too much money, IMO.
