No. Many stores are using this ploy to get people to shop. I just ordered two tops from J. Crew but instead of easy pay they were on sale.

I don't think " easy pay" has ever been such a great prize.

More like them hoping people will spend more money than they can afford,buying things that they should only buy if they can afford to buy it all at once.

Everyone is still paying the overpriced amount just dragging it out. No offense to anyone who likes it

just how I feel about it.

Somehow a sale seems to try to celebrate with giving money off of an item. Q does 6 easy pays every other day and on any item they can't dump.

Major price cuts would be a celebration. Allowing people to pay for something overpriced even longer is not my idea of a celebration.

I admit that the sales approach did give me pause.

My thought was: "So we celebrate being women by shopping?" It seemed a mildly insulting non sequitur to me. And then I moved on because it did not annoy me that much.

Didn't find it condescending, but doesn't tempt me to buy anything. I don't do EZ pay. Wish QVC didn't now make it the default when checking out.

They could have at least worded it differently. lol "We are extending micropayments to underserved women in our community to show our continuing support for women worldwide. Make International Women's day everyday, for the next 6 months!"

Same easy pay hooha, but sounds superficially better. Now that would be condescending once you read it a second time.

Today is International Women's Day. You can purchase items on 6 easy payments if you choose. What's condescending about that?
