I liquidated some a little earlier in the week for some short term cash needs. I kind of wish I waited a couple of days. I could've reduced my capital gains exposure even further.

We're down about 12% from our highs. The market was overdue for a pullback anyway. It will become a good buying opportunity for those with cash on the side.

My dividends are being reinvested at a much lower rate. Thankfully I don't need to touch anything.

We don't buy stocks anymore, we've invested our $ in zero coupon bonds and tax free municipal bonds.

There hasn't been any panic here. Uncertainty, questions, and distrust. This is a global problem that is affecting trade. That countries all over weren't prepared, ours probably least of all, made it all the more upsetting but panic? No, we are waiting and watching and hoping.

I have no idea how my investments are doing. I have a team of professionals handling it for me, and fortunately I haven't needed to cash out for anything recently. I have faith that the markets will come back strong as this is basically a correction based on hysteria rather than real financial circumstances, such as the mortgage market collapse in 2008.

No need to even ask. The stock market fell 1200 points in one day, so everyone invested lost their money...on paper.

Therr was a financial expert on TV last evening who said it would take about a year to recover...it's probably going to get worse before it gets better.

It's a great time to buy, but not to sell.

We only own one stock, small amount. I haven't checked. I actually never check so it's not like I'm intentionally avoiding it.

Our money is in cd's and money markets so we're good. We're very conservative with savings.
