Anyone Have Experience With CapTel Telephones?

I am curious if the captioning is reasonably accurate and if the captions keep up with the speaker?

My mother had a Captel telephone.It seemed pretty accurate. She did recommend it to one of her friends. They could usually keep up with the speaker, as long as there was a two way conversation. They would get behind if she was on the phone with my sister-in-law because she would keep talking and my mother would hardly get a word in.
