Do you watch more or less QVC now....

I have been watching Qvc for more than 20 years and I like it less and less. I used to watch a lot and had to hold myself back from ordering too many things I liked. Now it is the same stuff over and over and the shipping and returning charges are too much. Also exchanges take forever and usually I don't get an exchange they just return it. I used to order and it was at my door in three days in Florida. I guess what Qvc used to have is stuff I had not seen and did not even know existed but had to have it once presented. Not anymore...now just stuff I can go to Walmart, Ulta, or department store to get. I do love convenience of ordering on line.

used to have it on, for "company". but the selling style has become so inane that I don't enjoy it as much

I don't watch the Q at all, haven't in many, many years.

I agree there has been a change and it started a long time back.

I watch much less ..It's easy to order online but I can do that with most any store for the same products. I'm fact before ordering i check online sources for same product and can usually find and often with better pricing due to coupons and constant sales they flash at online websitss.

Not to mention free shipping at many other sites. Yes, find myself doing the same. I believe QVC relied on "brand loyalty" (them being the brand) from older viewers who were their captive audience, back in the day...but the competition, and market, and viewer habits have changed...and "easy-pay" ad nauseum isn't a hook for me, nor is a dumbed down, cheaper version of a TSV. Give me a true sale price on good value, and free shipping. $7 to return is also a deterrent, as QVC sizing, (all over the place), is tough to nail. Add to that shipping is now slower than ever, customer service isn't anywhere near like it used to be and don't even get me started on the nonsensical presentations that give me more theatrics and much less information. (paging Jill Bauer, who, I could always count on to give me thorough information. ) Oh well, at least there's plenty of other good sources these days. Not saying I never shop with QVC anymore, but yes, my habits have definitely changed... Q's watching their bottom-line, so am I.

Probably 95% less. I used to walk into my office for 7 a.m., turn the TV on to QVC, and it would be on until I left 10-12 hours later. Today, I don't even put it on. When I get home, I watch cable news or a Hallmark channel or ... HSN! HSN shows seem to be so much better, especially the cooking shows.

Hardly at all now. I generally don't like the tone now, with some exceptions. I do still order via the website.

almost never. that includes hsn and shophq too.

so many things are celeb and they are costly. i never

buy according to who is endorsing it.

and i dont care for the party like stuff they do and act like a group of giggly girlfriends etc.

alot of things like clothes, purses, skin care and on and on i can find at a far less cost than a shopping channel.

I too used to watch or listen to QVC many hours a day but I lived in an area where there was one store,KMart, and internet shopping limited. Today I rarely watch any of the shows because it seems the hosts are overly emphasized, too much time spent on one product, fashions all look alike with no standard sizing, costs to ship and return outrageous, constant Q card promotion, price fluctuation. I really do not see how QVC can maintain their edge in retail considering the ongoing issues and expense they must have with host salaries, cameras, sets and production.

I rarely watch. I have enough "stuff". I do ,though, enjoy the kitchen shows even though I don't cook. That is if they don't do a lot of food, vacs, etc. in the mix.

I spent an insane amount of 💰 on qvc and stopped watching after I realized that. I will put it on once in a while, especially on my non cable 📺 in the kitchen, but I have cut back severely on my spending so I don’t need to be tempted and watch. I do still buy my basics from qvc but only a few times a year. The qvc channel is good background noise once in a while, unless Shawn is on, 😂.

I used to watch often but that was many years ago.The products are not unique and the prices are not a value anymore.I am shopping the web and comparing for best pricing now.

I still shop QVC a fair amount, but I'm not enamored with some of their hosts (especially during the weekday/afternoon hours), so I tend to shop mostly on line (while I'm likely to be watching HSN).

A lot less. They seem to stay on one product way too long. Sometimes I will switch channels when a commercial comes on to see what's on only to switch back again 20 minutes later and seeing the same item presented. I used to enjoy way back when they would give a preview of what was to come during the show; now it seems they only show maybe four different products in an hour presentation. I would always find things I didn't even know I needed! It's surely saving me lots of money now; I make a list if things I really need and then go online to different vendors to find, usually on Amazon. I miss the old Q.
