I'm sorry to hear that. He was wonderful in "Seven Days in May", and in film noir masterpiece "Out of the Past", and in the O'Neill classic, "Mourning Becomes Electra", among others. RIP to one of the last major stars of the classic era in Hollywood.

This news saddens me. May God rest his soul.

Enduring as he did for such a lengthy time, I was able to feel somewhat young (by comparison). After all, he was a mature male when I was a child.

He was blessed with considerable talent.

He is one of the original Hollywood movie stars and has created a formidable family acting legacy.

We are blessed to have shared his talent in all of his many productions. I will never forget watching Spartacus and the Vikings as a young child.

It has also been wonderful having Catherine Zeta-Jones, his daughter-in-law, as a member of the QVC family.

My deepest sympathy to the family.

What an amazing life this man lived. His wife, Anne Buydens will be 101 in April 2020.

Read his autobiography, The Ragman's Son, great read, what a Hollywood life he had, but his childhood was far less glamorous. RIP!

I had seen Michael on The View when his Dad was about turn 100, and he said his Dad wanted to see his 100th, but he did not care to go in for much longer. Sad that Kirk never won an Oscar, just Lifetime Achievement one.
