I use a disposable razor carefully and that works for me.

I have had several over the years, no luck with any of them, they dont last very long at all. The last one was called Gleener, it was sold on the Q, no better than any of the rest.

I also suggest just using a disposable razor.

i have a gleener. have given them as christmas gifts also. there are 4 different heads for it.

I just bought a fabric shaver by Conair, from Amazon. (9.99) sale

I had a specific project in mind when I bought it. Years ago I had purchased a Denim & Co Faux suede Winter jacket with Sherpa lining. Omg, that Sherpa compressed, matted, And pilled like crazy. Hadn’t worn that jacket for a couple of years. But I kept it because I loved the beautiful navy color, and the suede looked great.

Well, this shaver worked better than I ever could have expected. Looks all brand new again. Love the Conair! Definitely a keeper, and would highly recommend.

I have used a razor before but usually ruin the garment. I bought one at Walmart and love it. Don’t remember the name of it but it was on the same aisle as the sewing things. It was called a sweater saver

I use a sweater stone....bought it at a shop specializing in wool sweaters many years ago, and it still works great. I've seen them on Etsy and Walmart's website.

love my gleener that i first picked up from qvc a few years ago.

that same year i gave a bunch as gifts to my immediate family.

still works well, still going strong. love the different heads for it.
