topic Should I remind this kid to do his laundry? in Community Chat

Without going into much detail, 18 year old step son, in college (first year), decided to move in with us (we live closer to the university). He has an extra long weekend because of Labor Day. I've been noticing his laundry hamper in his room is piling up. I reminded him the other day that the washer and dryer were empty if he needed to use them. I said this to him while he was lying on the couch watching TV --- so he had time to do it. Okay, now it's Sunday morning and still he hasn't washed his clothes. He has time to do it, all he did yesterday was sit infront of the TV playing video games.

Should I remind him again that he has time and an opportunity to wash his clothes, or just let him run out of clean clothes?

Any replies welcome. Have a nice day.
